New Cards featuring New Valentine's Dies

I finally got a chance to try out some of the new Valentine's dies and others dies that I have purchased lately.  I will be posting more cards in the next few days highlighting some of the new Valentine's dies that are out there.

The center attraction of this card is the new Impression Obsession Heart of Hearts die 052-I which will leave you with a bunch of miniature heart cut outs to use in other projects.  I used some of them at the top of the card and popped them with mounting foam.  I really like the combo of pinks and greens and was thrilled to see that the heart frame from the Heartfelt Creation Timeless Amour die set HCD 728 fit perfectly around the Heart of Hearts cut out and just framed it so beautifully.  I cut the flower out of the same pattern paper that is behind the Heart of Hearts cut out using the Cheery Lynn die C184 Judy's Blooms. The flourishes pictured are from the Joy die 60020258 Oval Frame Set and the butterfly was made using a Martha Stewart punch.  The "Love" is from the Dee's Distinctively die IME-102 - With Love Text

This card features the new Memory Box Butterfly Heart die 98778 which intricately die cuts several butterflies on your card front.  All you have to do is lift their little wings up and squeeze and you have a flutter of butterflies in a perfect heart shape!  The picture simply does not do justice as it makes everything look gray.  I did this in crisp white cardstock and layered on light gray with a darker gray background.  I brushed a little glue on the wings and lightly dusted them with Tim Holtz Distress Glitter in Clear Rock Candy to add a little glitz.  I then threaded silver ribbon through a label from the S4-235 Spellbinders Fancy Tag Set & applied the same glitter around the edges after I stamped "Be Mine" with a stamp from the Impression Obsession CL538 Valentine Hearts Cling Stamp Set using Versa Mark stamp pad and Super Fine Black Embossing Powder.

I have wanted to purchase this CottageCutz Lace Envelope CX-004 for a while now.  It always catches my eye when I see it, but it is a little bit higher priced die so I have held off.  But I decided to give in and get it and I am so glad..I love it.  It cuts so easy on the first pass and is just the right size to hold a business card,  how cute would that be to use as advertisement when you pass your cards out say at a craft show?  It is also perfect to hold a gift card and would also tuck nicely into a decorated card. So many possibilities....

I cut this one out of plain white cardstock and just added the "With Love"  for a pretty Valentine's look using the Dee's Distinctively die IME - 102 With Love Text.  I am going to give this to my 13 yr. old daughter Olivia on Valentine's Day with a neatly folded $10 dollar bill inside.

This one I cut out of cream cardstock and embellished with a small doily center from a Cheery Lynn die DL 153 Polynesian Sail Oval and added a flower made using Cheery Lynn die C184 Judy's Blooms.  I added flourishes that I really like from a Joy die 60020258 Oval Frame Set. I used Distressed Ink Pads in Frayed Burlap on the doily and envelope and Victorian Velvet on the flower.

Good Morning, Terri! I LOVE all of these dies and stamps, but absolutely fell in love with the Lace Envelope and the "With Love" die. Putting these two on my Wish List for the not-too-distant future. Your work is beautiful. Also, I, too, thank you for putting the prices with the items. It saves a lot of time. Great job!
