Thank you and Merry Christmas!!!

Jon and I want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the past five years of being owners of Joan's Gardens.  You have been faithful customers and I have become friends with so many of you.
Hopefully, that won't change...just the direction of it.
As we retire, we look forward to having time to do some of the things we enjoy.  I will always (Lord willing) be a part of this wonderful world of crafting.  I will be creating a new web site (called "Joan's Touch"... I think) where I can continue to post my cards, recipes, flower and all the things I love to do.
I will have Terri give you the link as soon as I have it up and running.  I so hope you will keep in touch with me.  I will also continue to have the same email address if you wish to drop me a note.
This will be my last post as owner of Joan's Gardens, and I pray you will be as supportive to Terri (the new owner) as you have been to me.

We wish you and your families a very Merry Christmas and a Blessed New year.
We give our Lord and Savior so much praise as we count our blessings this Christmas Season.

I really hope, that you and your husbond will just enjoy the future having some more time to do what YOU love to do, and ofcause we hope to still you around outhere in blogland, as you´ve been a huge inspiration over the past couple of years, since I met you at Penny Flowers, and I´ll always enjoy to see your lovely work.
I hope, you´ll both have a wonderful Christmas and a magnificient New Year and that 2014 will be the year, where all good things will happen to you.

Back in the spring when I met you online 4 years ago with spring in Indiana, I didn't know I would become such a fan of you and your work. As our friendship grew and love you have poured out to your cyber friends and me too I can't say enough good things about you Joan, you are talented in business, creativity and the love for God of above all. I know our friendship will remain a big part of our lives. Now as you and Jon start this new adventure into retirement I know that God will be following you all the way. I hate not to see your smiling face looking back at me each morning when I pop up Joan's Garden, it will be missed. I also have become friends with your sweet husband (no- don't get the wrong idea out there) as he as welcome us into his home as well as yours.
May this beautiful Christmas season be a new start for both of you as you retire.
Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year Jon and Joan.

Hugs and God Bless,

Gretchen

Congratulations on your retirement. You deserve to be able to go now and enjoy life with your husband and catch up on some of the things that you have wanted to do in life. I would personally like to thank you for a great web site. I know that Selma is no longer with you but her creativity and beautiful work is how I found you (I don't remember how I found her, lol) but your site has always revolved around the Lord and that is what continued on with you. You have been a great inspiration, a good businesswoman and a true and faithful Christian and I wanted to thank you for that. Now, go and enjoy your retirement and best of everything to you and your husband.

Oh there is no stopping you Joan. I know this is just a new chapter in the Creative book of Joan "and Jon". I am so happy that Terri was the person sent to take over as you shift your energy. God, is always the master of our plans. I will be continue to follow you and see what ideas I can "borrow" from you. I will also get to your lovely garden one day and will always have you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.

Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year !
