This Week's Challenge - Big Prize

Click on the picture for a better view!

I just love fall colors.  They are so warm and comfy to me.  My house is decorated with all these colors too.  So, today that is the colors I have chosen to use for this week's challenge.
What a fun card this was to make (don't I say that about all of them (smile).
Using water color paper and Tim Holtz's technique by putting the ink pads down on my craft mat and spritzed with water.   Then the paper was laid down and move around until I had the colors I wanted. When this started I planned to use gold, green and red, but
I spilled the bottle of red ink all over the mat and so now my flowers are different colors of red.  At that time, I decided to bring out the other colors with card stock.  Sometimes mistakes happen for a reason.
Once the paper was dry, I cut out the leaves and bird.  I used the Emboss It Dabber by Ranger to cover the leaves and then poured Utee Embossing Powder over them and heated with my heat gun.  I repeated this process until the embossing was perfectly smooth.

I just received this new Embossing folder by Nellie.  Isn't it beautiful!  You can see the 4 newest folders by clicking here!  I know I will use it a lot.  It is available to order now to preorder.

I didn't like the bird sitting in midair, so once again I went out to  my gardens and found a small twig for it to rest on.  Impression Obsession has this new grass die and I knew right away when I saw it that it would be great for lots of things.   You will probably be seeing lots of it.

If you have any questions please don't  hesitate to ask.
