Altered Frame by Joan

My niece, Cathy was here for the weekend and we had the chance to "play".  Of course Cathy made twice as many things as I did, but that is always the way it is.  I cooked her some fresh green beans, macaroni salad and cornbread, but she forgot to count that time that I wasn't creating. (smile).  We had such a wonderful time.  I will be posting the card for our challenge that I made on Thursday, but I finally finished the frame today.  If you love vintage and you don't have Heartfelt Creations  Burst Of Splendor Collection, you would love it.  Each paper in the pack is stunning and that is what I used to cover this wooden frame.
If you double click on the picture you will get a larger view of  it.
I purchased this wooden frame at Michael's for $1.00 and covered it with the first piece of paper in the Burst of Splendor Collection.  Then I used another sheet and cut out the corner pieces so I could pop them up.  I clear embossed both pieces, not realizing that it would be harder to take the picture.
Using one of the Crafters Workshop Templates and Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink Pad I stenciled some more pattern to the top of the frame.  I added a little water and about 4 drops of dusty concord to my Spritzer bottle and sprayed my pink flower to make it match the flowers in the paper.

Beautiful Joan. The time you spent was well worth it. And I am sure the beans and cornbread were yummy also.
