Birthday Card by Joan

Todd, my grandson in-law's birthday was the end of June and I just now had time to finish his card.  I started it 2 weeks ago, but there has never been time to finish it.  Today, I made myself sit down and get it done.  Todd is the father of 4 boys (married to my granddaughter Kelsey) and lives in Michigan near Lake Michigan, so I thought this stamp by Impression Obsession was fitting for him.

At the last minute I added the oval black ring, but what I didn't think about was it cuts off the boat etc on the outside of the oval ring.  Without the black oval, I really like how the image went into the cuts.  I am sure Todd won't notice, but it bugs me. .  Thought I would share that with you before you look at it and wonder why I did that.

A S Filigree Delight  S5-177 by Spellbinders
