Last night I had a baby shower for our Pastor's wife who has 5 boys and is expecting their
first baby girl. How exciting for them. My friend Sherry and I decided we would join together to get the gift. Sherry works in Napanee, Indiana where there is this adorable Baby shop and she was going to pick up the gift. About 2:30 I received an e-mail from her telling me she had gotten the cutest gift and could I throw a "quick" card together. Now, I don't know about you, but I never create a "quick" card. We were leaving at 5.
So, I stopped what I was doing and started "creating". I spent the 1st hour on something that I ended up throwing out as it just didn't come together like I thought it would. Then, I remembered I had
Graphic 45's Little Darling Paper and the new Marianne dies for a baby. I started over and my card was a huge hit at the shower.
The baby picture that I used from the paper pack is framed with Cheery Lynn's Corner dies and I think it makes the card. What do you think? These corner are perfect for framing any kind of pictures and Cheery Lynn has so many styles of them. I just love them.
Below are the products I used to create this card. If you click on the thumbnail it will take you to the link that it is posted in. You will have to scroll down to find it in the post.
Sherry Cheever told me about a new feature that she uses for her blog and I loved it. I have been working on learning how to do this the last couple of weeks, and I finally figued it out this morning. Yea!!!!!!
