This week, 2 of my Great-Grandson's will be having their birthdays and I couldn't let the weekend go by and not get their cards made.
This is Bleydn's card. He loves planes, trains and automobiles. One of my new paper packs by Kaiser called On the Move has some "cool" boy things in it including the checker border. I cut out the airplane from the same paper pack and placed it behind the large Window Die #816 by Poppy stamps. I love this Fence Line Stamp and it is from a new line of stamps that I hope to get posted this week. Isn't it cute behind the Window? The number 5 number and letter B from Tim Holtz chipboard set was colored with a Copic red marker and popped up using Therm-O-Web Dimensionals. Birthday Wishes by JustRite was stamped to finish the card.
This card is for Daitin and he will be 6. In September I made Dylan (his brother) a card from the Magic of Oz Paper pack by Graphic 45. I thought I would continue with this theme for Daitin. (Kara, his Mom said Dylan's card was her favorite card I have ever made.).
The Scarecrow and Lion were cut out from the 8x8 Magic of Oz Paper Pack as well as the background paper. The letter B is also from the Chipboard set by Tim Holtz. Two layers of grass were cut and added to the bottom. Everything was popped up with Therm-O Web Dimensionals. The Happy Birthday is a stamp I have had in my stash for a long time. It was stamped with Versa Fine Black Ink and cut out using Spellbinders Label 4 die and then distress with Tim Holtz Brushed Corduroy Distressed Ink.
Easel Die by Tim Holtz. I have looked for a long time from my suppliers for a good weight of Chipboard and I finally found it. Using this chipboard made a perfect weight for the easels. The card can then be easily displayed. All you have to do is attach one side with a piece of Scor Tape to the back of the card. It folds flat for easy mailing too.
