Joan's Gardens #2 Weekly Challenge

Thursday, January 12, 2012
First of all, Selma and I want to give all of you a huge thanks to those of you who joined us for last week's challenge.  Your cards are awesome and you all are so creative.  We were so excited to see all the beautiful entries.  The winner will be selected tomorrow.

This week the challenge at Joan's Gardens is to create a Valentine using non-traditional colors.   Isn't Selma's card gorgeous?  You can read all about it by clicking here!

Here is what you need to do for Joan's Gardens Weekly Challenge #2:

  • Create a Valentine in "non-traditional" colors
  • Use some kind of lace
  • Use a flower - rose if possible
  • Use a key - optional
You will have until next Thursday (January 19) morning 6:00 AM EST to link your project.

You can enter more than once. A winner will be chosen from the Random Drawing for week #2 challenge and will be announced Friday December 20. This winner will win a Paper Pad.  The winner will also be entered in the end of the year $100 gift certificate drawing.

Below are the guidelines:
1. You must have a blog or post to the SCS gallery.
2. Post your challenge card to your blog.
3. Or if you are posting to the SCS gallery, you will need to use a special code to tag your card to the challenge. This week's code is JG112 and needs to be posted with the challenge.
4. Link your card/project to the Blue Inlinkz icon listed at the bottom of the challenge.
Important, please have a direct link to your challenge card and not to your blog address.
Comments always appreciated. I love seeing your cards! Thanks so much for playing!!

Wonderful challenge Joan, and Selma, stunning card as usual, I love all the cards I have seen so far, but the links for Becky and Mary Anne do not work for some reason, I can see all others, but I tried this am and again tonight and can not view, just thought I would mention it in case it is not just me.

I just read that my link does not work...what can I do to fix it? I tried re-linking it but it tells me it already exists....HELP!

Thanks Joan for removing the original since it did not work. I have re-linked it from another computer but I think it may be a malfunction in my blog someway and I don't know how to find it or fix it. We'll see what happens :)
