The Layered Scalloped Posy Die has more intricate details, so if you have a "loose" machine, you will have to cut a couple times. Happy Thanksgiving!!

Jon and I wish you  and your family a very Happy Thanksgiving!  We are so blessed and we are very thankful for all of you and the friendships we have made these last 4 years.

We are heading to Michigan to spend the day with our daughter and family.  Then we are bringing

Lily (9)and Mazelee (6) (our Great-Granddaughters) home with us.  We are going to be crafting all weekend and I can't wait!  Enjoy your Day and let us all reflect on our blessings!

Beckon's Birthday Card

We are celebrating our Great-Grandson Beckon's 2nd birthday today.  Of course, I had to make him a birthday card. Not that he will notice, but his Mama sure would if I didn't make it for him.  Let me tell you, those girls keep track.

I totally fell in love with the ABC Primer paper when I was at CHA and have been waiting for the perfect time to  use it.  Most of the things on this card are from this 8x8 paper Pack .  Other items used were Sticky Back Canvas which was inked with Distressed Antique Linen Stain and then frayed, clock from Bo Bunny, Therm-O_Web pop-ups, Neenah card stock and JustRite Family Sentiment stamps.

This week's challenge

 

Selma and I have a fun project for you this week.  Be sure to take a look at her beautiful card and tag for this challeng by clicking here!

This card was so much fun to make. Using a  Penny Black's Berry Red and Snow White Stamp (4202L) ,VersaMark , and White Embossing Powder to stamp and emboss onto the new Gold Mirrored Paper made for a gorgeous background for the deer family.

Two of the new Deer dies were cut (introduced hopefully this afternoon) out of white card stock, and the (also new) Memory Box Tree.  The buck from the 2nd cutting of the deer was removed and just the two smaller deers completed the "herd".   White Pearls were added on each corner  and Noel was stamped from Heartfelt Creations Joyous Noel. HFC3346 and cut with a Spellbinder Labels 4.
