My Tag using the Doily Die and Spellbinder Lotus Die.

These elegant designs may be cut on any manual table top machine or the Vagabond. The best way to cut these is with one paper shim due to the complexity of the designs. Cuttlebug and Big Shot owners may find that the Cuttlehug Plates (S113) make cutting these very easy. Tape your plate to cardstock and die cut. Before removing your paper, view the designs cuts. If not completely clean, rotate your die and paper and repeat cutting process. To make it easier to remove the cut piece, run the assembly back and forth a few times and this will loosen up the paper cuts. Enjoy!

Have you ever not been able to get to your work table or your "stuff". Well yesterday and today is one of those days. This tag is made from nothing but "trash" stuff that was already cut, tied or laying around on my craft table. If you look at the pictures below, you can see why.

We are getting ready for the next workshop which means we always get so much done. I love it because it is a time that Jon starts crossing things off my "honeydo" list. (smile) Do you know what I mean?

The floor in my craft room/workshop/shipping room needed to be painted and this is a perfect time to get it done. So, we moved everything to one side of the room and Jon painted it with a cement stain.

Everything moved to the other side of the room. And I can't get to my "stuff".

We were able to get the other side ready this morning , so Jon could mop it before he left for work. It will be ready to paint tonight and in 2 hours we will be able to walk on it and can start putting things back

Workshop Invitation Sunday March 20, 2011

I am hosting another workshop on Saturday, March 19 in northern Indiana. (just 20 minutes south of South Bend) The sad news is the class is full. I know....you didn't know about it and that is because those who have attended the last workshop get first chance to come back to the next workshop. Everyone has so much fun that the next workshop is always filled even before I announce it.
But the good news is....I am going to do a Mini work shop on Sunday, March 20 from 1:00 PM to 6 PM.
We won't be able do all the projects done on Saturday (we start at 9 AM), but it will be a fun afternoon and I know you will love the projects that Selma and I have designed.

If you would like to attend the workshop on Sunday, please email or call 574 656 3663 right away so that I can save you a spot. There is no charge and I supply all the items needed for the projects you will be making. I will send you a list of things you will need to bring, such as your own adhesive etc. You will learn different techniques and I know you will love what you make. (Minimum 8 and Maximum 22)

Don't think you are too far away.. I have had attendance from Wisconsin, Washington, Arizona, Ohio, Michigan! (smile)
