Weekend Workshops and Projects

This past weekend I held 3 days of workshops with about 30 ladies attending.  Illinois, Ohio, Michigan and  Indiana were represented with some of the gals driving over 6 hours to get here.  We had a fantastic time, fabulous food and great projects. (shown below)  Selma and I had tons of fun and hard work designing the projects for this workshop.

Friday Workshop
Saturday Workshop
Sunday Afternoon Workshop

This is the front of the card.  We inked the stamp instead of using an ink pad.  Some of the gals had not done this technique
Penny Black  Stamp Village Christmas  4205L
Inside of Card using Sizzix Snowman die. Tree,  and Scallop Oval Pop-Up Die
Cheery Lynn Fence, Lights, Lamp Post and Stacker circle for wreath.
The gals learned how to do debossing and coloring with Distressed stains

LabBlance Tree was  stamped on Sticky Back Cavas using several colors of Distress Stains to give it a Taperstry look
We used Cheery Lynn leaves, Pine Branches and Accorn dies.   The gals made a pine cone using the Small Pear Punch
The deer is a Mariaanne die that was stamped with Tim Holtz Slightly Alteration Stamp for texture and interest.

The Box was cut from a Sizzix Die and then using a Stamp Postioner the Penny Black Snowcape 4203K was stamped with Versa Mark and Embossed with Ranger Super Fine  Embossing Powder.
The deer were stamped 3 times, embossed and then cut out using a template and pasted on to the box.  This was done because the lines of the box made the stamp look crooked.
Heartfelt Creations Poinsettia stamp was stamped and cut with Spellbinder Poinsettia dies.

Darlene Pavlick taught us how to make these adorable Tissue Boxes.  She did a fantastic job, wrote great instructions and had lots of samples for us to see.  These will make great Christmas gifts too!!!  Thank you again Darlene!!!!!

Due to time making the projects, not each class was able to finish all the projects.

I love all the projects but my fav is the 'tapestry' tree...using T/H stains. Very interesting. A future tutorial in the making?
On the first card you stated you inked the stamp instead of using an ink pad~ Do not understand. Would be another great tutorial for future use, for us that cannot attend your workshops due to geography (2200 miles?)
Thanks for sharing!
