3 Graduation Cards

Wow...I cannot believe I made 3 graduation cards in one day.  Well,. actually I made 2 last night for a total of 5, but I did not like the first 2.  So, I started over.  Have you ever done that?  We have two Grandchildren (brother and sister) that graduated from college and our new Son-in-Law also graduated at the same time from the same school.  Today is the big party for all 3 of them and I certainly wanted to make their cards.  Click on the photos to enlarge.

Natasha's Card
This is the 3rd attempt I made for Natasha's card.  The other two were too frilly for her.  She is very contemporary minded and this card fits her perfectly.
The card is 6x5.5.  The black and white flowered paper was cut from DCWV Black and white paper pad and attached to the white card stock  Then a strip of white was punched from the Double Arch Punch and a piece of black and white ribbon was added to separate the card stock and the punched strip.  I also punched 6 Big Sky Flakes for stamens to add to the flowers.  A pretty silk black bow gives it the finished touch.   Looks pretty cool and I think she will love it.

Tony's Card
This card is also 6x 5.5 and the stripped paper is from the same paper pad and distressed with with Vintage Photo Distressed Ink.The strip is from a scrap piece of Graphic 45.  The mirrored gold paper (wish it photographed better) was used to cut out the Spellbinders Floral Doily Motif.  The corners were punch with the Quilted punch by Martha Stewart.  The white card stock was distressed with Vintage Floral Distressed Ink.  JustRite stamps were stamped on white  card stock which was also distressed and cut out with Labels 4 by Spellbinders.

Steve's Card
Again, I sure wish this photographed better.  I had to lay it down to get rid of most of the glare of the silver paper.  Same size card as above using the same paper pad and another strip of scrap paper.  Labels 10 was stamped with Staz-on Ink and the man was cut from Tim Holtz die. (I cut off the umbrella).  The paper was bordered around the page with Modern Garland.

These are fabulous Joan and how nice that they are each so 'personal' ... they're going to love that special touch you've put into each of their cards! Have fun at the party!
