And the winner is~~~~

We want to thank everyone who participated in last week's challenge to create a project similar to the project prepared by Glenda Brooks.   Glenda had a great response to her tutorial and we want to thank her again for taking time to post the tutorial for her gorgeous box.
All the boxes were gorgeous and Selma and I had a very hard time picking  one winner.  With lots ofconsideration and thought, we have decided that Darlene is this week's winner.  Congratulations Darlene.  Be sure and take a look at her beautiful box by clicking here.

For those of you who tried Glenda's technique, pat yourself on the back because you now have a new technique to add to your lists of things you know how to do.  I am sure you had fun doing it too!

Summer is such a very busy time of year and we have noticed a decrease in entries in challenges. We are sure you are enjoying having the great tutorials prepared by our guest designers but wonder if you would prefer for us to stop challenges until Fall. Before we discontinue the challenges for the summer we would like to know your opinion. Will you please leave a comment below and let us know your thoughts.

Oh, no...please don't stop! Even though I don't get as much time to participate as I'd like, I so LOVE seeing everyone's creations! I promise to try harder!!! I'd miss you like crazy if you went away for the summer :(

I agree with Patti J...."oh no...please don't stop!" I think we need to have our creative energies challenged in amongst other summer projects.

I'm back again! I've been thinking today that I was very selfish this morning! Joan and Selma, you need to do what is best for the two of you, and of course, your business! If you take a break, we will all be here when you get back. If you don't we'll try harder to do the challenges! Anyway, didn't mean to sound selfish! Hugs...

Summer is such a busy time for everyone with children out of school, college kids home for the summer, and just all around outdoor family activities. You have to do what you feel is best for you both. As an alternative to shutting down completely, maybe it would be a good idea to extend the challenges to two or three weeks instead of weekly giving everyone more time to participate. Just a suggestion. Don't think any of us will be very far away whatever you decide. "Hugs' Carol

WOW ... thanks SO MUCH ladies! I'm truly HONORED and even though challenging ... I truly enjoyed making the project!
As far as lower participation ... these projects are a little more detailed then making a card and maybe the suggestion of extending the time on each one would be a wise choice. Maybe every two weeks or even a monthly challenge throughout the summer months. WHAT EVER WORKS BEST FOR YOU BUSY LADIES ... I'll be participating as much as possible ... your challenges certainly do 'CHALLENGE' my creativity! Thanks!

I hate to see it end for the summer but understand if you do that. I would rather see it run longer maybe two weeks for each challenge just my opinion. Will keep coming to visit no matter what you decide !! God bless!!

I loved seeing the tutorial and if work had been less manic would have had a go. I have a long list of cards I need to make and seem to be struggling to get those done so have some real good messing play time was not quite appropriate. Perhaps you could make your challenges fortnightly which would mean less work for you and would give people re time if they needed it. Enjoy your summer whatever.
