I love Spring when my gardens start to bloom and I know many of you feel the same way about your gardens. I just had to share a few pictures that I took this morning. For years I had bought Lupine plants with no success. So, I bought a package of seeds about 3 years ago, planted them in several spots to see if I could get one to grow. I had 3 plants come up and survive and then they started self seeding. This is one of those plants. It has 15 blooms/buds on it. I am so excited!

| And, I have over 20 baby plants that have self seeded from last year. They are scattered throughout my gardens. |

I wanted to show you this which hopefully will have flowers later. Lori, my daughter helped me dig Mom's lillies (her pride and joy) . Lori, Cathy (my niece) and I split them. Mom would have been so thrilled. The last thing she said to me before she fell into a coma was for me to be sure to dig her lillies and tree peonies to put in my gardens. She loved them so much, and we are thrilled that we will have them in our gardens. |

Beautiful garden set-up.
WOW! can't get over your pond and waterfall. How many years did it take you to build that all up like that? It is really Awesome.
Thank U 4 sharing your lovely photos

Colleen, the pond is 9 years old this spring. We certainly have gotten many years of enjoyment from it. We feel like we are on vacation everytime we have a minute to sit by it.
Your yard is beautiful. I know what you mean about your mom's flower's. I have some from my mom's garden and cherish them. I also have some from my mother-in-laws garden. It's a blessing to have them around us.
Maybe I should try the lupine seeds too? I have never had my plants survive either. Thanks for the idea, and your gardens really are beautiful.

Your gardens are so beautiful! I love to watch as things start to bloom in the spring. I have never had any luck with Lupines either (thanks for the inspiration) and your Mom's plants, how wonderful. We have several of my husband's grandma's peonies and they are very special. Thanks for sharing!!
What a beautiful garden and waterfall! The addition of your mother's lilies and tree peonies will really be a lasting memory of your mother. I know when my dad died, I dug his roses and blue berries that he loved. I still have them and think of him often and how much I am like him.
Thanks for sharing.

Oh Joan, I am so happy for you that you were able to bring your Mom's lillies for you to continue to watch them and always know that Mom is still around. I can't wait to come up and see the beautiful flowers in your Garden once again. I do believe it was a year ago that is what brought me to Joan's Garden. Hugs.
Beautiful watergarden and flowers Joan. I sure we had made our waterfall that tall but it will have to do as it is.......lol Thanks for sharing! "Hugs" Carol
How nice that your mom wanted you to have her beautiful flowers, and that you were able to transplant them into your heavenly setting! Joan, this pond and waterfall is the prettiest! You've done such a beautiful job, and your Lupine flowers are gorgeous as well!!! Thanks for sharing :)

Joan, your garden is so pretty and looks so relaxing!Just love flowers and the outdoors, when we had our pool and my health was better, we had so many flowers, my deck looked like the tropics, and everyone loved coming over to sit on our deck, they said it was so relaxing to sit there and look at all the color!! I am sure your Mom is so enjoying looking down upon her flowers and seeing all the joy that they are still bringing you!! Lovely lovely memories and such a gorgeous pond!
Thanks for sharing with us.
