Olga was last weeks Tag winner with the most votes for her Tag. Congratulations Olga. A big thanks to everyone who joined us last week and we hope you will join us this week for the weekly Tag Challenge.
My tag this week was lots of fun to make. I had some new toys to play with and how fun is that!
I started out using a Rangers Tag and covered it with my new Moulin Rouge Paper by Prima. I had already made the Camellia flower one night while watching TV with Jon, so that was ready to go. Punches used were the Begonia, large and small Ovoid, and a medium snowflake for the base. The lattice work is a new Lattice die by my Doily Die Company and I folded a Kiwi Doily die in half for the background of the flower.
The cardinal was stamped with the new Heartfelt Creation Cardinal Posy Wreath and cut out using the HFC Cardinal dies. The Checker board punch by Martha Stewart gave the bottom of the tag more interest and showed off the pleated ribbon. The small tag was in my stash from cutting out the Tea Cups for the Workshop. It was stamped using a JustRite Birthday Sentiment stamp and attached with a pretty decorative hat pin. I also had the Sizzix leaves cut out and left over from the workshop.
Making your Tag: You have until Sunday, April 24, 9:00 PM to enter the Tag Challenge. Anything goes. You can make whatever kind of tag you want to make, any color, use any stamp...your own thing. Then once the time ends to enter a tag, the voting will start and will last until Tuesday morning April 26, 6:00 AM.
This is simply a fun thing and something to help you have tags for your gifts or even a tag to send to a friend. I know, I am sure enjoying it!!! I love making tags!
The weekly winner, (the tag with the most votes) will be sent an award badge to post on their blog which will show them as a winner. In June there will be a drawing for a grand prize that will be awarded to one of the weekly winners. Won't it be nice to have a head start on all those tags needed throughout the year! I'm looking forward to seeing all your creations. If you need help in posting your tag, please contact me by email or calling 574 656 3663.
