Card for Joan's Gardens #23 Weekly Challenge

This weeks challenge turns to Christmas which is a favorite time of year. Heartfelt Creations Fancy Ornament was stamped with Memento Black Ink and then colored  with  red Copic markers.  Flower Soft's new Gold Embossing powder was glued to every other stripe for texture and interest.

I made a window card by using Labels 4 and cut out an opening on the front of the card.
Rhinestones were added around the cut out portion for some pizazz.

The ornament was placed on top of the cut out, Merry Christmas from JustRite's Sparky and Friends Cling Stamps  (I do love that small sentiment!) was stamped underneath, popped up with a dimensional and placed on the inside of the card.

I have a new gold Copic marker that I used to color the 1/4 inch white silk ribbon.  It worked like a charm and gave me the size and color I needed to match my card.  The corners were clipped with a decorative corner punch by Fiscars.  Sorry I dont' know the name.

Because I used a 6x5.5 size card, the Cuttlebug embossing folder wouldn't emboss the entire card.  So, I centered it and then used my gold Copic marker to draw some lines to finish off the design.

I wish I could photograph the beautiful embossing.  It makes the card, but no matter what I did I just couldn't capture the beauty.

What an amazing and beautiful creation! I love how you punched the corners and drew the gold lines - that makes this look like a little book instead of a card! Fabulous!!
