We had a beautiful evening for carving pumpkins and eating a delicious supper at my daughter"s. This year we had it in Kara's garage to make it easier to take Mom.
After the Pumpkins were carved, I was able to get all the little ones to sit a few minutes for a group picture.
We are so blessed with so many little ones to love and enjoy. |

Carving in action. The pumpkins were so tough that we had to end up using a saber saw to cut a hole to get them started. We think that was due to the very dry summer weather. But it worked great and everyone completed their designs. We had a butter fly, a dragon, and some scary looking faces.
I couldn't believe I failed to get a picture of the finished pumpkins.
Mom was certainly enjoying all the activity. |

What a wonderful time you have shared with us today!! We used to get together with the kids every fall for apple crisp, apple cider and pumpkin carving ... great fun ... that is until Mark got sick and now the kids are getting too big and too busy! Enjoy your beautiful family ... as I know you do ... they grow all too quickly!!
