Today's clue:  A special blend of ink is used, one we will never know.   It is overprinted with symbols and then it is starched to make it water resistant and pressed to give it that nice crisp look.

Please leave a comment telling me what the clue is referring to!

Iron On fabric

Its got to be stamped fabric to use like paper in your creations or like a fabric to ruffle and squish and cut to make projects with.

I guess fabric.

Oh my goodness - this is getting tougher instead of easier, Joan.

My guess today is a patterned ribbon from the Orient perfect for ruffling on our projects! But probably not that either.

It has to be fabric that has embellishments & ribbon etc to match. Maybe from Graphic 45 or Tim Holtz?

You have every supply and tool there to do starch applique. The exact method I use for preparing applique pieces to use on a quilt....So I'm thinking applique pieces for cards????? Either that or you are now quilting...

I am still guessing fabric for use on cards or scrapbooking.

I'm going to guess it is a special fabric with invisible ink that resists dye based inks or mists like SU! Presto papers. When you add dye, the design shows up as resist.

HMMMMM....I knew (and posted) yesterday that it probably was fabric. You are TOTALLY teasing us by showing that picture that includes what looks like a toile. I just can't wrap my head around fabric for papercrafters. So, still guessing a BEAUTIFUL apron for crafting, with lots of pockets.

Joans own cloth bags?? OR perhaps cloth pieces with adhesive to stamp on?? Gosh the possibilities are endless. Hurry and tell us!!!

I think you are talking about a very old book or papyrus (maybe an old Bible) - possibly one that was created by hand before there were printing presses. Perhaps you are going to be getting one?

Is it paper money - you are going to get/win some money? A copy of the Declaration of Independence?
