Card for Joan's Gardens #17 Weekly Challenge

Thursday, September 30, 2010

My brother's birthday is this month, so I wanted to get his card made before I run out of time to send it.
As I told you before, I love mixing patterns and you can easily do so as long as you keep the scale different.
So, here I have used a plaid, stripe and polka dot together, all color coordinated.
A new product was used on the leaf, called Judkins DG3 Art Gel.  It is great even though it does take
time to dry.  It doesn't bubble and is very smooth.

Your card is gorgeous -- perfect for a masculine card. The new DG3 Art Gel sounds like a fun product. It really made your leaf "pop".
