Easter Gifts for my Girls

I always buy gifts for the little ones on Easter, and I like to give my daughter and granddaughters a little something too.  This year I was browsing the Dollar store and I found these Herb Garden  Kits and I thought that could be fun for them and also fun for the little ones to watch grow.

I wanted them to be pretty, so I decided to alter the containers.  Don't you think they make a much nicer looking gift?

This is what they looked like when I brought them home.

I made a template from the packaging shown above.
After splicing two pieces together, I cut it out of  the
Graphic 45 La Romantique Paper.

I love the new embellisments I just receive from Webster
Pages.  (I will be featuring them soon)

Using more of the DT from the same Graphic 45 paper pad
allowed me to use the beautiful peach colors which are included
in the new Webster Embellishments.

The top. Isn't that trim beautiful?

This paper is from the 12x12 Webster Paper called
Life's Portrait.

The turquoise trim matched it perfectly.
This cross stamp was one I ordered from Inkadinkado.
I colored it with the Copic Markers and a white gel pen.
Label 10 was used to cut it out and then I inked the
edges to enhance it.  The image was popped up with the
Therm-O-Web Dimensionals.

The girls all loved their gifts and couldn't believe I could make their "garden" look so beautiful.
My girls all love "pretty" things as much as I do!
