Exciting News!!

I am so excited to announce that on May 15th, Selma Stevenson, of Deer Park, Washington will be flying in to do a workshop at Joan's Gardens. She was a SU demonstrator for over 10 years and continues to be very creative since her retirement. I have asked Selma to demonstrate some new techniques and I am very excited for you to see the beautiful projects you will be creating. I told a few people about this workshop and the word has spread like wildfire. The seating space in my craft workroom filled up immediately. I still have others wanting to attend. Since Selma is coming so far and I hate to turn anyone way, I am opening up reservations for the overflow room. This means everyone will gather around to watch Selma do the demonstration for the project and then go back to your seat to work on your project.

If you would like to join us on May 15 from 9 AM to 6 PM, please e-mail me right away as I am sure the 2nd room will fill up quickly too.   As usual, there will not be a charge for the workshop and everyone who can will bring a dish to pass for lunch. Please visit Selma's blog to see her beautiful work and then e-mail me if you would like to join us.

Hi Joan, You tease us all who live so far away (Washington State), when you post fun things to do like this. Well at least you get some of the wonderful talent from this state! Have fun, learn lots. Deb
