Penny Black Card

I created this card using my new Penny Black stamp called Aspire. I do believe it is one
of my favorite cards I have made. I added flower soft to the flowers and it is amazing how much that adds to the card. I love that stuff!

First I found the paper I wanted to use from my stash and designed the colors to coordinate with it. I stamped the Aspire image on water color paper, used my Marvey watercolor pens to color it and then I used some water on a paint rush to smooth it out and make it look like a water color painting. After letting it dry, I added flower soft to the flowers.

I used the new Nesties die to cut my frame out of foil, punched 2 butterflies out of the striped paper, punch the lattice from my Martha Stewart Arched Lattice Punch, cut out a strip of the striped paper and assembled the card onto a 5.5x5.5 white Neenah cardstock. I glued down the frame, and then used Therm-o-Web Foam Squares on the back of the stamped flowers to pop it up above the frame. I really liked that look. What do you think????

I used Tiny Words by JustRite for my sentiment and cut it out with a small Circle Scalloped Nestie and popped it up with a foam square.
