Melanie on Sunday

Melanie remains stable. Her vitals continue to remain consistent and within a good range.
She had a "uneventfull" night, (the doctor and nurses were pleased), and continues to respond appropriately. The plan remains for a CT scan tomorrow morning and possibly removing the breathing tube and reducing the sedation.

The scans have remained the same which indicate there is no continuing or new bleeding, and they are just watching for signs that the swelling and the fluids are reducing. Her responses also continue to be appropriate and her body is continuing to adjust on its own.

We continue to Praise God for the prayers, thoughts, and deeds by family and friends in caring for Melanie and her family, and for giving Melanie strength to overcome.

My prayers continue for Mel. As do the ones of my sister in Ohio and at church. This beautiful lady I pray will be able to hold her dearest new baby soon, with Gods powerful intervention. Remain strong Joan. We are all praying for Mel. God bless. ekc
