In The Garden

I started with a 5.5x5.5 Neenah Cream Cardstock and used a moss green and black borders to highlight the piece of copper that I had scored using my Scor-It. Before attaching the copper, I glue down the black velvet ribbon behind it so no raw edges would be showing.

The flower pot image was stamped on water color paper and then each item was added to build the floral. I used water color pens to color the stamp. Then I stamped and dipped my small brush in water and spread out the ink to make it look like a water color. The Scalloped Rectangle Spellbinder die was used to cut out the image and popped up with Therm-o-Web dimensionals. The butterfly was cut with the Spellbinder die and a small piece of velvet ribbon was attached to it for the body.
