Asking for Prayer

We had very devastating news this morning. My 30 year old cousin had a baby on Saturday and this morning around 2:30 AM she had a brain hemorrhage. She is in an unconscious state at this time. She has a 2 year old daughter and a 4 year old son besides the new baby. When I talked with her Mother they were taking her for a MRI to determine the location of the hemorrhage.

I know there are many of you who believe in the power of prayer and I would like to ask each of you to pray for Mel. We are praying for a miracle with complete recovery.

I am very, very close with Mel and her family. This morning my heart is breaking for them. If you have a friends or family that you can pass this onto, we would greatly appreciate it. Thank you so very much.

Dear Joan, Prayers are being said this very instant that God is already undertaking the miracle at hand and that he is giving all of you a peace that passes understanding and is putting in place everything you need to get through this. That in a time of stress and upset, you will have a calmness and reassurance that he is working a miracle. Blessings to the physicians and all medical personnel caring for your cousin and that He will be working through them for His ultimate good. He is an awesome and miraculous God! Please keep us updated as we continue to surround you and your family in prayer.

Blessings always,
~ Gail

When I was a little girl and did not feel well, my mom would recite this simple, powerful GOD statement to me:

"There is not a spot where God is not!"

How true this is.

I will pass Mel's info on to my prayer chains.

Oh my ....
Joan, this is just indescribably sad! I understand your feelings and your heart completely. My own DD and her DH have just adopted our first granddaughter ... I am so attuned to mothers, young families, young siblings, and the blessings of life at this moment, that it's difficult to truly comprehend this tragedy for Mel! My heart & prayers will be for her and her young family!
