Birthday Card

Tuesday, March 31, 2009

My youngest Granddaughter's birthday is this week and I made this card for her.
She loves pink and bright colors and I thought these beautiful papers, Garden Tour and
Tennis Court by Bridgeport are just perfect for her card. Again, I wish I could capture
the beauty on these papers. Both have a raised effect and very nice and heavy. These
papers will make great boxes which I hope to soon get done.

I colored the Inkadinkdo Classic Botanical image with my Copic markers and added some Pink Rhinestones (which I will be featuring for next Monday's sale) for extra pizazz. I like the side panel that I punched with Martha Stewart's Arch Lattice Punch. I have never done it that way and I think it looks pretty nifty! What are your thoughts?

Hello,
I am visiting from the blog, A Touch of Grace to look at your store. Happy Birthday to your Granddaughter. The card you made is beautiful and the ribbon is lovely.

And thank you for the recipe. I was thinking that I wanted to try something new for supper and living in MN, something to keep the chill away.

I hope your temps in IN keep rising.

The ribbon is from Lion ribbon. A friend told me that you might be able to find it at Walmart. It also comes in purple and green.

Thanks for the comments. I truly appreciate them!!
