Merry Christmas Soap and Candle

This soap and candle set can be changed for any occasion. I tinted the candle to match the soap and I decided the black and cream would really set it off. I used the Nestie Curved Rectangle die to cut out the cream paper and then I stamped Merry Christmas on it. I cut out a black border using Martha Stewart's Lace punch for the bottom to give it some interest. I attached both of the tags with bronze colored brads, sticking them right into the wax. I used SU ribbon punch on both sides and then ran a Carmel color ribbon with black threads running through for accent.

I used the same cream color card stock around the soap and then I stamped in black with my JustRite Special Occasion Border and the JustRite Times Roman Font to stamp Joy. Then I cut it out with Spellbinders Round Nestie and added a black scallop with the Round Scalloped Nestie. I just love Martha's Stewart's little butterfly punch. It makes the cutest accent.
The same Carmel/black ribbon was used on the soap as is on the candle.
Below is a picture of the top of the candle.
