Altered Can

Yesterday Sharon showed us how to make a beautiful altered can. This is my attempt. It seems much prettier in person than it does in the photo. I struggled with this, because I did not have a lot on hand to embellish it.. The covering of the can was very easy using the Scor-It and I cut and embossed the Oval Tag with my Nesties. I was able to create the word I wanted to use with the JustRite Font set and I love being able to do that.

One thing I would do next time if I used the same can was paint the lid first with some spray paint. My Sharpie didn't cover the metal very well and I had to go over it several times to hide the metal.

I think chocolate covered pretzels or peppermint bark will be great in this can to give as a Christmas gift.
