My brother's birthday card

My brother Walt's birthday in coming up, so I wanted to send him a special card. I used the Special Occasion Monogram set by JustRite to create his initials. He is a very classy guy, so I thought this card would let him know it!

I started with a 5x5 card, stamped the flourish image and cut it out using my square Nesties. I framed that with a square piece of card stock that matched my ink and attached it to my card. The monogram is popped up with a dimensional.

The Happy Birthday was stamped and then cut with a small Oval Nestie and the Ribbon Punch by SU cut the slots for the ribbon. I did not want the ribbon to be seen on the inside of the card, so I cut a strip of matching card stock with the Long Rectangle Nestie to create a scalloped border. Then I ran the ribbon through the tag and under the green mat and then tied a knot.

Ooooh, nice! Love how you did the ribbon so it doesn't show on the inside. Very classy card!
