Journal Gift

Well it is time for me to start thinking about what I am going to be making for Christmas gifts this year. I usually wait until the first of December and then I get in a panic. I don't want to do that this year. I also will be getting together with my high school girl friends the end of October, and I think this will be a nice gift to make for them. I will personalize it for each one.
I used the Scor-It to make the necessary scor lines so that the journal open and closes easily. It worked great and certainly is a pleasure to use. The Mini Scor-It is listed on my items for sale this week too.
Sharon Johnson posted a journal she had made last week and I fell in love hers and with the idea. She gives wonderful instructions on her blog. I learned a lot on the first one, so I think the next ones I make will be much easier.
The verse says "We do not remember days, we remember moments". I thought this was perfect for the outside of the journal.

Scor-It----------------to make all the necessary scor lines.

This looks fantastic Joan!! I printed out Sharon's instructions on her journal because I too thought it looked awesome. I have done several altered composition books but was intrigued with this spin on making a journal. Nicely done and I'm sure it will be well received!!! TFS

I really like how you put together this journal. I saw Sharon's and printed out the instructions for a Xmas project as well. You are right - don't wait until Dec. Enough canning - on with stamping!!

As a person who lives on a farm and raises chickens :), I have to say that I LOVE your journal! It came out so cute and so country. I'm planning to make some of these too - I hope mine come out as cute as yours did :).
