Happy Halloween

I am so fortunate to have 4 Great-Grandchildren (#5 will be here any day), so I need to be working on their Halloween cards. I had chosen some pattern paper to use, but nothing I did with it looked good. So, I put it aside and went with solid colors. I love this little goblin girl, I just wish I had a little boy since we have 3 great-grandsons. Of course they are all small enough this year they won't care, but hopefully by next year Crafty Secrets will come out with a cute little boy to go with their cute little girl.

This is a 5.5 square card as I find this size so much easier to work with when I am designing a card. The Treading Water Punch from Fiscars was used to make the scallop. I usually use two different colors when I do this, but I decided this time it looked best with a solid color.

I stamped the spiders, added two layers of a dimensional to make the cat really pop and popped up the little goblin with only one layer of the dimensionals. My ribbon colors didn't match, so I used a black and white ribbon and colored it with my Copic Marker. Although, in the picture you can not tell that it is black and orange, but it is. I must remember this, as it really gives me a lot of choices of colors to use. I love SU's Ribbon Punch to make slots for my tags. This is not my original idea by any means, but what great ideas I get from other card makers. I needed just some little something on the Cat's circle and I happened to find a small bag of embellishments I won when I was in the UP at their card making gathering. In this bag was a orange star bling, just what I needed. It was perfect!
